Founded in 1994 as D Jones Services (specialising in civil engineering work).

We have provided quality civil engineering & groundwork services throughout Wales and the North West of England.

 

In 2005, Managing Director Darren W Jones successfully

diversified and developed the business to establish a new company,

D & C Jones Co Ltd operating in the Power & Utilities industry.

 

 

We provide labour and plant hire amongst many other services at competitive and reasonable rates.

These services include;

Substation installation and maintenance, overhead power line design and build, cable laying, cable jointing, multi utility projects and telecomms networks.

We have an extensive range of mini excavators, skid steer, rock wheels, tracked dumpers.We pride ourselves on our professionalism, effectiveness and flexible approach which, when combined with our competent drainage and ducting labour force, ensures provision of a service that is individually tailored to meet your needs.

Inspections are carried out to ensure the quality of work is to the highest of standards. This includes; checklists, photographs and all other relevant paperwork

We have a range of specialised trucks all with crane and auger attachments.

We specialise in rock drilling excavation for wood pole erecting. 

Most of our operatives have Certificate of Authorizations enabling them to work on the

Scottish Power (SPEN) electricity network including OHL, Sub-stations and underground conductors.

In addition, some of our operatives are PQMS authorized for wood pole erection and cable jointing on the Openreach infrastructure.
